Theatre 2019/2020 Events

Acting Workshop Classes for ages 6-96, every Saturday, 10:00am to 12:00noon. $50.00 per student, per month for ages 6-15.  $75.00 per student, per month for ages 16-96. No experience or appointment needed…just walk right in and register for a class. At the end of each 12-week session, all class participants will be in play or showcase.


“Open Mic Night” is the 4th Monday of every month at 7:00pm for all ages. Come and showcase your talents, sing, dance, poetry, monologues, skit, improv., play a music instrument, do magic tricks, puppetry, clean comedy, perform, or be the audience. Sign-ups are between 6:30 & 7pm., just before each show. Suggested Donation: $5.00 per person.


“Golden Acorn Bus Trip” – CAT’s DAY-OF-FUN, Fundraiser: Saturday, JULY 6, 2019

Time: Meeting at 8:30am at CAT

Departing: 9:00am – From Community Actors Theatre

Returning: Before 5:00pm. Cost: $20.00 per person (Your 

$20.00 will be returned to you thru their Casino Machines) 

Age: 21 & up (Bring ID, Player’s Card, a jacket, and a hat)

“LYRICAL ARTISTRY” – A FREE Show in Collaboration with San Diego City Park & Recreation, Oak Park Council, Oak Park Community Council, Community Actors Theatre and Key56Radio, every 3rd. Saturday (MAY – AUGUST) at GLORIA’S Mesa Amphitheater – Chollas Lake Park – 1:00-3:00pm. Poetry, Clean Comedy, Gospel Singing, Blues & Jazz special Saturdays, Excerpts from up-coming Shows, Spoken Word, etc. The community is invited to every show. 6350 College Grove Dr., across the street from the Little League Baseball field.
