Running October 5, 6, 7, 2018 is "Erna and Ernest” - Written and directed by Paul W. Taylor, SR. This is a story set in 1964 of an African-American family who buy the first house in a new subdivision in a small southern town. They know that no White family will live next to a Black family. The way Blacks look at themselves and their world is changing although not all of the Blacks in this town accept these changes. Fri/Sat at 8pm., Sunday Matinee at 3pm. $15/$18
Additional Parking is allowed across the street in the south side Parking Lot of the Calvary Baptist Church. (Church on 54th.) The Church in the middle of the block with the tall steeple.
Community Actor’s Theater is a non-profit all-volunteer theatrical troupe dedicated to providing drama and a creative outlet to the Oak Park region. Started in 1982 CAT gives a voice to local playwrights and actors.
