JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION

This Community Event is being held at Chollas Lake/
Gloria’s Mesa Amphitheater – 6050 College Grove Dr.
FREE EVENT! Various local Vendors, Entertainment,
Arts & Craft, , Singers, Dancers, Drummers, Double
Dutch Jumprope Jumpers, History about JUNETEENTH,
Poetry, Spoken Word, The Martin Luther King, Jr’s
Speech, Group Dancers, Key56 Radio, and so much
more! Please bring a hat, sunscreen for the sun, and a
small pillow to sit on, on the bleachers to watch the
Show. Visit and patronize the Vendors… Food, Jewelry,
and Display Vendors. Bring family and friends. Let’s celebrate this special day in our community,
with our community… TOGETHER.
“Open Mic” at 7pm every 4th Monday (except May, Nov., & Dec.)
Come and showcase your talents, sing, dance, poetry, spoken word,
puppetry, clean comedy, current events, improvisations, skits, games.
Perform, or be the cheering audience. Suggested donation: $5.00.
Performers, sign up to perform on the sign-in sheet, beginning at
6:30pm. ~ Some place inexpensive to go at least once a month ~
Acting Classes: Ages 7-15 – Every Saturday, 10am –
12noon. Sept. 5 – Dec. 5, 2026. Classes are FREE, but students will
be asked to sell more tickets for their Christmas Show. Added rehearsal days
will be announced later. Tickets for the Show will be $12.00 General.
Acting Classes: Adults ages 16 & up, meets every other Saturday
from 10am – 1pm Adults will do a Play or a Showcase at the end of the session
in Dec. Dates for classes: 9/5, 9/19, 10/3, 10/17, 10/31, 11/14, 11/28 Show will
be on 12/12/2026, at 2pm. Tickets: $12.00 General. Please bring $20.00
for each class. For consistency in learning, please attend every class.

CHURCH ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE THEATRE. LOOK FOR
THE CHURCH WITH THE TALL STEEPLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE
BLOCK ON 54TH. STREET.
